I always  wanted to take my iTunes to Linux to play my favourite online videos easy ..
search you tube or google video sometimes becom a pain to do with no app that does the job.
well ..here comes the king  Democracy Player  truly a masterpiece Opern Source software that is much better than iTunes.
It’s cross platform works on Mac osx Windows and Linux with an interface that integrates completly into your system..

so basicely this is what we can do with it:
1. Subscribe to Channels:
Democracy has a built-in Channel Guide. It’s an open catalog of hundreds of free channels. Subscribe to any channel with a single click.
2. Download from Channels:
Pick videos to download or set the channel to automatically get new stuff as it comes out (like a Tivo).
3. Watch Videos:
Lean back and watch your new videos in standard mode or full screen. Democracy plays almost every video format.
4. Search:
You can search popular video services like Youtube and Google video right from Democracy
5. Subscribe to video casts
you can order your Democracy to automatically download video casts from your favourite sites
6. Bittorrent
it can even download video torrent files and it can even work as a stanalone torrent client.
7. Manage your collections
it’s pretty good at managing collections playlists and organizing files.
Braodcast Machine:
On the same Democracy project comes another amazing software that lets you manage your videos on your site.. it’s a Video Platform for sites that makes creating Video blogs, Video Podcasts and Video RSS feeds absolutly easy process

Over all Democracy Player is the Greatest Open source Video application.

Mozilla released Firefox RC1 earlier today.
this release has nothing new over the previous betas .. only bug fixes were added.
But to talk about the shift from 1.5.x to 2 there is much to say.
i’m going throw the most cool features i liked as listed in the official release notes

Visual Refresh: i had a bad experience with Firefox interface before it goes slowww after a while specially with a large number of tabs … i hope they fixed it.
Enhanced search capabilities: this just great .. we had to install extensions in the past just add, edit or remove search engines .. it’s perfect now .
Improved tabbed browsing: there is three things here i used to do manually using extensions every time i install firefox .. the close tab button , the restoring session feature and links opening automaticallt in a new tab.
Previewing and subscribing to Web feeds: more control on RSS feeds .. it’s not only live bookmarks now but we have the option to suscribe to any RSS reading service we want (web-based, standalone).

I know the first thing people will say : why the heck any body would run IE on Linux in the first place.
Well the answer is very simple .. NOBODY would run IE in Linux unless he have to.
If you are a web developer or even designing your own page on a Linux platform, the major problem is how it looks on a crappy browser like IE
most of the Internet users use IE which makes you  forced to have windows and evern restart your whole system just to see how your page looks  in IE .
Well .. the Pain is over .. here comes  ies4linux a fully automated script to install IE 5.1, 5.5 and 6.0 on your Linux system with the help of wine.
and the script developer said that IE 7 support is coming soooon.
ies4linux is pretty easy to use .. just run the script and answer with Y/N to the versions you want to install and that’s it.. you are done having an IE icon on your desktop

Please if you really don’t have to use IE please switch to FireFox or Opera
they are much faster safer and you’ll help web developers creating more beautiful sites without having to worry about BAD browsers

I’ve found a great plugin for Wordpress that deals with almost all video types with a Valid XHTML code as the embed tag is not valid it’s in here

it’s really stupid that every month someone start talking bad about Islam and muslims start to react to his talking in very “unpredictable” ways … there gotta be a solution for this
